Inside the Life of Nick Giannatasio
Nick Giannatasio was born in New York City. Nick’s journey into storytelling began at home, where The Last Sorcerer first took shape as bedtime stories told to his children. What started as a way to spark imagination and wonder slowly evolved into a fully realized epic fantasy trilogy.
Inspired by the timeless works of J. R. R. Tolkien and C. S. Lewis, Giannatasio is drawn to stories that explore morality, sacrifice, and the quiet power of choice within vast, mythic worlds. His writing reflects that influence, blending rich worldbuilding with deeply human characters and themes that linger beyond the page.
Nick is currently working on Book Two of The Immortals Trilogy, continuing the story that began in The Last Sorcerer. When he’s not writing, he enjoys traveling and scuba diving, pursuits that mirror his love for exploration—both of the world and of the imagination. He currently resides in New Jersey.
The Last Sorcerer
Beladan is the last sorcerer in the world, an immortal man who can’t remember his own past. For centuries he has lived quietly beside a remote tower of mages, until a boy with strange prophetic dreams and a war-weary captain are drawn to him from opposite sides of the continent.
Together they discover a hidden war: a banished death-god is raising undead armies, corrupting kingdoms, and trying to break free and remake the world. To stop him, Beladan and his new companions must steal a powerful relic from the god’s own temple and carry it through cursed lands, rival empires, and ancient ruins.
